The New Year bells of 2012 rung in Rupert Murdoch on Twitter. Ouch! Twitter users have reacted with disbelief and dismay.
Since going live the media tycoon had collected more than 111,000 followers and tweeting his views on everything from his family holiday in the Caribbean (lucky for some) to American politics and the US presidential election.
There’s growing speculation that this controversial business man could be thinking of invest investing in my beloved Twitter, or even acquire it. Oh NOOO!
However, his joining has come serendipitously soon after Prince Alwaleed bin Talal, a Saudi billionaire announced a $300 million investment in twitter; the Prince also owns seven percent of News Corporation. I leave the rest to you to figure out…though think this is just the start of @RupertMurdoch…
